Cashew Husk (also called Cashew testa) is a useful by-product of the cashew processing industry in Vietnam, it is the outer layer of the cashew kernel, completely separates the cashew kernel from the outer shell.
Cashew Husk has a slightly red color, they are currently used to extract many useful compounds to use as raw materials used in the tanning industry, because they contain good color pigments that create excellent colors for leather goods. In addition, cashew Husk is also used in the dyeing industry, animal feed, poultry feed… and many other applications in practice.
